Make an Army Red VS Blue Units Tier List

Which soldier lines to multiply at gates—community S–C meta for early access.

Units Tier List

Units are the foundation every other tier list assumes. If you multiply the wrong line at gates, legendary armor and weapons from Armor Tier List and Weapons Tier List underperform. This community-oriented unit ranking covers Make an Army Red VS Blue on Roblox—UH Games Offical’s runner beta—not official roster documentation.

Beta UI may label units with military themes (rifles, shields, cavalry, artillery). Names can change; roles persist. We rank lines by how well they absorb multiplier gates and translate into Red vs Blue arena pressure.

Ranking criteria

Units earn tiers based on:

  1. Multiplier efficiency — value gained when a gate doubles or triples that line.
  2. Combat role — front contact, mid DPS, or back-line support during arena.
  3. Upgrade synergy — how cleanly armor and weapons from shop menus attach to the line.
  4. Boss viability — contribution to Beat Pharaoh, Beat Emperor, and Red Button attempts on Beat Bosses.

S tier — rifle / mid-line DPS stacks

Standard rifle or soldier lines you see at early neutral gates are S tier default picks. They appear often at splits, accept every armor tier, and benefit from both single-target and cleave weapons. When a gate offers “x2 riflemen” versus a exotic side route, riflemen win unless a coin emergency demands otherwise—see Coins and Gems.

Balanced infantry with no mount dependency stay S because auto-run paths rarely force cavalry-only corridors in current beta layouts. Stack multipliers on one infantry line for three gates before diversifying.

A tier — shield front and hybrid lines

Shield or heavy infantry lines rank A tier when you expect heavy melee in Red vs Blue or boss slams. They pair with top armor tiers and protect back-line DPS you multiplied less. Push shields to S in co-op if one player dedicates all multipliers to front-line while others feed rifles.

Dual-role units that gate-label as “elite” or “veteran” squads sit at A: stronger per slot but appear on fewer gates. Take them when the multiplier equals a generic line’s value.

B tier — cavalry rush and artillery back-line

Cavalry or fast rush units are B tier in solo beta meta. Charge windows are short in auto-run arenas, and wrong-path penalties hurt more when cavalry gates sit off the main optimal route in Gates and Paths. They climb to A in coordinated lobbies that call mount gates early.

Artillery or back-line lobbers stay B until add waves require rear DPS. One artillery line is enough; do not multiply artillery twice before rifle S tier is stable.

Mixed “bonus unit” gates with unclear multipliers are B until community confirms numbers on /updates/.

C tier — low-value and trap lines

Units tied to wrong-path gates that shrink count or apply debuffs are C tier by definition—avoid even if the icon looks flashy.

Duplicate exotic lines when you already committed multipliers elsewhere rank C. Finish one stack first.

Cosmetic-only unit skins without gate presence belong in C for progression purposes.

Team color note

Red and Blue teams share the same unit logic. Picking a color does not change tier rankings—only visuals and matchmaking.

Linking to builds and upgrades

Once you pick an S-tier line at gates, mirror spending on Upgrade Priority and full recipes on Best Army Builds. Unit tier without shop follow-through still loses arenas.

Free Egg Tier 1 hatch results from Free Egg Tier 1 may add a unit line—re-run gate priority if the hatch replaces your starter squad.

Co-op multiplication strategy

Five-player cap means callouts matter. Two players multiplying the same S-tier line can outscale five players on five different B-tier lines. Assign lines in voice chat before the run starts.

Beta change watch

Early access patches can rebalance gate spawn tables. If rifle gates suddenly disappear, revisit this page after Updates notes. Community tiers shift when datamined gate tables change.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask before every match.

Which unit line should beginners multiply?

Default rifle or infantry lines at early gates—they are S tier for flexible armor and weapon upgrades.

Are cavalry units bad?

Not bad—B tier solo because pathing and charge windows are harder. Co-op can raise them to A with early callouts.

Does team color change unit tiers?

No. Red and Blue use the same gate and shop systems.

Should I multiply two lines at once?

Usually no early. Stack one S-tier line for three gates, then add a shield or cleave secondary.

Are these unit rankings official?

No. Community beta meta based on multiplier and arena logic—not dev roster docs.
